I've spent most of my career "in-house" providing legal services and sourcing and managing appropriate and affordable outside legal support. PragmaticGC was created to remove legal distractions so founders, executives, and teams can focus on growing their businesses while still having expert support behind the scenes.
I'm a 23-year attorney with 14 years of in-house experience across many industries, including consumer products, consumer electronics, sports, and ecommerce. I thrive learning about businesses and industries, solving problems, and offering pragmatic, actionable legal advice without curtailing revenue-generating opportunities.

I operate as a generalist, and serve as “quarterback” to all legal operations. Nevertheless, my background has provided me with deep experience across all of the above-mentioned areas and more. For most matters, I will “self-perform” the work. If it is more appropriate to bring on a specific subject matter expert, I will source the best candidates for the job, interview them and negotiate favorable rates that are “right sized” for the situation.
