Announcing PragmaticGC

I'm excited to officially announce PragmaticGC and my new site, PragmaticGC.com!

PragmaticGC.com is just a simple website. PragmaticGC, however, is my new business that has been in the making for some time.

What is PragmaticGC?

• PragmaticGC is my legal services and consulting business. I provide fractional general counsel services (hence the "GC") to the Sports and Outdoor Industries. I serve as part-time General Counsel to companies that do not yet have the revenue that justifies having a full-time legal headcount.

  
  

• ​My aim is simple: provide clear, actionable legal solutions designed to protect your business and support your goals on a simple, flat-fee basis.

What PragmaticGC is NOT:

• ​PragmaticGC is not a traditional law firm.

  
  

• I specialize in providing fractional general counsel services and legal operations consulting tailored to modern businesses.

  
  

• At the same time, I do have certain areas in which I have specialized experience, which you can read about here.

Why Now, and Why Me?

• I created PragmaticGC in an effort to solve a simple problem -- or situation -- that I have seen far too frequently, and for far too long: Smaller and middle-market companies not getting appropriate legal support, and not getting the full benefit, experience and background that in-house attorneys provide.

  
  

• Founders, CEOs and CFOs shouldn't be bogged down by managing lawyers. That’s what a General Counsel does. I've spent most of my career "in-house" providing legal services, and sourcing and managing appropriate and affordable outside legal support.

  
  

• PragmaticGC was created to remove legal distractions so founders, executives, and teams can focus on growing their businesses while still having expert support.

  
  

• PragmaticGC was also created to provide experienced, industry-specific and business-savvy legal advice and counseling to companies that are not yet ready for a full time legal headcount.
